Have you ever sailed a boat on the river, built a winning raft, canoed around the islands or went on an over night camp, hiked for 10km, lit a fire by rubbing sticks or cooked a meal using no pots?
These are some of the many adventures open to Scouts.
Other activities include abseiling, camping, rock climbing, air activities ,orienteering and construction. As Sea Scouts we do a lot of canoeing and sailing. Specific activities depend upon the age group.
Scouts learn useful skills like first aid, bush safety, conservation, Leadership and Teamwork. Scouts wear a smart Navy uniform for formal meetings.
A Navy Blue Activity Shirt with the Noosa Sea Scout Logo is an optional part of the uniform.
Scouts have fun!
Scouts meet lots of new people and make new friends, especially at events like the Australian Jamboree, Triple S Camp, Nighthawk and Swampy Weekends.
So how do I join?
