is situated on 1.5 hectares of parkland in the middle of Noosaville, 5
minutes walk to the beautiful Noosa River without crossing
roads. The Noosa river foreshore has playgrounds, shelter
sheds and BBQ’s. It is a 5 - 10 minute walk to calm
water for swimming and sandy beach, which is very suited to young
children. 20 minutes away is the North Shore (40 mile
beach). Noosa is surrounded by National Parks which
are fantastic for orienteering. There are many hire craft
available at a reasonable rate, which can be used to explore the Noosa
River and Everglades. Noosa River is suited to all water
activities. Within a five minute drive you’ll will
find laundromat, shopping centres, post office, hospital, medical
centres, video hire, McDonalds, Red Rooster, take aways, service
station, water activities hire businesses, clubs, restaurants and the

are just like other Scouts, except that we do more water
activities, such as sailing, canoeing, rafting, navigation,
rowing, water and boating safety and care and maintenance of
water craft. Sea Scouts do all the other things that Scouts
do; orienteering, camp and bush craft, cooking,
camp competitions, community service, skilloramas, jamborees, ventures
and moots.
